MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will invest almost 280 billion rubles in development of the electronic industry in the next three years, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Wednesday at a meeting with the parliament deputies.
“We paid special attention to the promising directions, mainly the progress of the electronic industry. This is the basis of digital transformation of our country. We raised the budget funding of the industry by several times – the three-year budget stipulates almost 280 billion rubles,” Mishustin said.
The government will have to ensure full-scale transition to local hardware and software complexes, which will host the key services for the people, the government, and business.
